Hundreds of children in foster care, many of whom have experienced abuse or neglect, are in urgent need of a stable, caring adult to advocate for their well-being.
Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring these children receive the support and services they need.
According to information released by CASA officials, the organization is currently seeking volunteers to step forward and help make a difference in a child’s life.
CASA volunteers act as a voice for children in the court system, ensuring their best interests are represented. The first step to becoming a volunteer is attending an informational session, where prospective advocates can learn about the role and its responsibilities.

- Attending court hearings to advocate for the child’s best interests.
- Ensuring the child is receiving necessary services related to health, education, and emotional well-being.
