Essex County officials are Investigating two vehicle thefts in two municipalities that occurred Sunday.
According to police in Newark, they are looking for a black 2003 Acura TL with reported NJ plate U45-HMN that was stolen from the 200 block of Abinger Avenue.
Police in Maplewood said they were called to the 7-Eleven on Springfield Avenue shortly before 8 a.m. to investigate the theft of a 2016 Toyota Camry bearing NJ License plate C98- GRP.
According to officials, a young Hispanic male was seen jumping into the Toyota.
The incidents remain under investigation.
