Police are on the search for a heavy set black male with a beard who conducted an armed carjacking in the 30's block of Linden Ave. in East Orange shortly before 6 p.m. this evening.
The suspect reportedly pointed a weapon at the victim and took a white Mazda SUV with a reported NJ license plate number "Z92-CAL".
There were no reported injuries.
