Newark Police officials are investigating a reported carjacking that occurred in a neighborhood in the city's northern end Thursday morning.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to the 400 block of 4th Avenue to investigate reports of a carjacking that occurred before 2 a.m.
Upon arrival, units were told that three male suspects took a BMW 328I form the victim at that location.
Police have not confirmed if the suspects used a weapon during the incident at this time.
There were no physical injuries reported.
