Police in Orange are searching for a violent carjacker that took a vehicle at gunpoint this evening in the city.
The suspect has only been described as a black male who was armed with a gun when he demanded the vehicle from the victim on Freeway Drive East at around 9:15 p.m.
According to the victim, the suspect struck him in the back of the head with the weapon.
The carjacked vehicle is being reported as a white BMW 525i with NJ license plates.
The victim was not seriously injured.
