Paterson Police are on the search for a gunman who fired nearly a dozen bullets on a street in the city on Saturday morning.
According to authorities, gunfire rang out in the vicinity of Hamilton Avenue and East 22nd Street at approximately 3 a.m. sending police officers to the scene where they immediately taped off the area after locating multiple shell casings.
Police canvassing the scene for injuries did not locate any victims but officers found a vehicle that was penetrated by bullets.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
The shooter remains at-large.
