Police said a thief easily made off with a vehicle that was left running and unattended in a section of Newark’s North Ward Sunday afternoon.
According to police, the incident happened in the vicinity of 246 Mount Prospect Street at around 2 p.m.
Police say the suspect jumped into the victim’s 2020 Toyota Camry and sped away.
The vehicle has a license plate number “E75-MIG”.
The suspect remains at-large according to police. Newark city officials want to remind residents to never leave a running vehicle unattended.
