A vehicle that was reported stolen with the keys while running at a location in Jersey City was spotted in East Orange on Monday night.
According to preliminary reports, police were on patrol in the area of Hoffman Boulevard when they observed a tan colored Dodge Dart violate traffic signals and attempted to pull the driver over.
The suspect ignored officers and sped away, leading cops on a brief pursuit that was broken off near the Bloomfield border.
The vehicle has a reported NJ license plate number "H23-KBY". There were no injuries reported.
