Authorities in Hudson County are on the search for a suspect wanted for a Wednesday evening shooting in Jersey City.
Police say at approximately 7 p.m, police responded to reports of shots fired that erupted at the intersection of Bayview and Ocean avenues.
Officers arrived and found a vehicle in the middle of the intersection struck multiple times by bullets.
Police said when they searched inside the car, no victims were found. A newer model Nissan Altima with tinted windows fled the scene immediately after the shooting.
The motive is under investigation.
