EMS transported a car technician to University Hospital suffering severe injuries when a car fell on top of him while he attempted repairs on Sunday morning.
According to preliminary reports, emergency responders rushed to the 37-39 Hermon Street after they received a call for a person trapped under a car at approximately 11:30 a.m.
Rescue crews arrived to find the injured man pinned under the car after he attempted to lift the vehicle using a jack according to police.
A crime scene unit was called to the scene to photograph the area for the investigation.
