EMS rushed a man to Clara Maass Hospital after a car crash in Kearny left the man dead this afternoon.
The incident happened on Forest Street shortly before 3 p.m. where the driver a vehicle reportedly crashed into the rear of a U.S. Postal truck.
According to preliminary reports, the driver possibly suffered a medical condition which caused him to lose control of the vehicle.
Medical staff pronounced the victim dead shortly after his arrival at the hospital reports said.
The official cause of the crash remains under investigation.
