New Jersey Transit Police are investigating a crash that had a car slam into a bus this evening in Newark's South Ward.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the vicinity of Meeker and Elizabeth Avenue at approximately 5:17 p.m. to investigate reports of a crash that involved a bus.
Units arrived to find a bus wedged to the right side of a bus according to police.
There were no serious injuries reported and the incident remains under investigation.
