Police in Springfield are investigating a crash that destroyed a business in Union Township this morning.
Emergency responders rushed to the eastbound lanes of Route 22 after receiving reports of a crash.
Upon arrival, police found a vehicle had slammed into the Dunkin Donuts at that location.
The driver and at least one child escaped the collision without severe injuries.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the driver somehow lost control and crashed into the business.
No one inside the Dunkin Donuts was injured.
