Authorities in Camden are investigating a stabbing that left a man injured early Friday morning.
According to police, officers were dispatched to the area of Westfield Avenue and Leonard Avenue at approximately 2:55 a.m. after receiving reports of an assault in progress.
Upon arrival, they discovered a male victim suffering from a stab wound to the chest.
Emergency responders transported the injured man to a regional medical center for treatment. His condition has not been disclosed.
As the investigation continues, police have not announced any arrests or released details regarding a potential suspect.
The motive behind the attack remains unclear.
