Camden, N.J. – A Camden man has been arrested in connection to an April shooting that left one man dead and a woman seriously injured, according to Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer and Camden County Police Chief Joseph Wysocki.
Mr. Marquese Holmes, 21, of Camden, has been charged with one count of first-degree Murder and one count of first-degree Attempted Murder.
Investigators say Holmes killed Quinton Norman, 30, of Camden and injured a woman on April 9 during a shooting on the 700 block of Mt. Vernon St.
According to police, Holmes was arrested May 18 in Marlton by members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force – Camden Division.
Officials said Holmes is being held in the Camden County Jail awaiting a pre-trial detention hearing.
All persons charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
