A 20-year-old Camden County man wanted on multiple weapon charges in Trenton was arrested after he was allegedly found inside a hotel room with a minor.
According to police, Daquan Grimsley was wanted in connection with an unspecified warrants incident that occurred earlier in the month. Following the downtown incident, Grimsley was charged with unlawful possession of the weapon, possession of a high-capacity magazine, aggravated assault on police, resisting arrest and possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance.
Grimsley was taken into custody after police located him inside a hotel room on the 800 block of Broad Street in Newark.
Inside the room, police found Grimsley along with a female minor in possession of a small amount of marijuana.
The unidentified minor was charged and released, pending a family court appearance at a later date.
