Camden County Detectives Investigate Fatal Hit-and-Run Involving Pedestrian

Authorities in Camden County are investigating a fatal hit-and-run that claimed the life of a pedestrian in Camden on Wednesday afternoon, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay.JamaicanThe incident occurred on September 25 at around 3:21 p.m. when Camden County Police responded to reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle at the intersection of 7th Street and Tulip Street.

The victim, identified as 41-year-old Carla Mahan of Camden, was transported to Cooper University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 4:06 p.m.

The investigation into the hit-and-run is ongoing, and detectives are seeking information from the public.
