Burlington County officials confirmed one fatality in a Friday night house fire in Florence.
According to officials, fire broke out inside a two and a half story house located in the 300 block of Broad Street just before 9:30 p.m.
Crews arrived at the scene and found heavy flames coming from the second floor of the home, where they began to stretch several lines to began their attack of the fire.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire in under a half-hour, but after crews searched the home, they found one person inside dead.
The Burlington County Prosecutor's Office was notified of the fire and the cause has not been determined at this time.
