There is an active investigation underway into several overnight burglaries that occurred in Summit.
According to reports, police responded to reports of a burglary that happened in the 30's block of Little Wolf Road at around 11:30 p.m.
Units arrived to the first location and found the burglary suspect had completely ransacked the home reports said.
A search of the neighborhood had cops located several other homes broken into and ransacked on Little Wolf Road and Greenbriar Drive.
A Union County Sheriff's K-9 unit was called to the scene to assist in the investigation.
It is not immediately clear what the suspects took from the residences.
