Police are reporting property damage in a shot-fired incident in Newark's South Ward.
At approximately 4:45 p.m., gunfire erupted in the area of Lyons Avenue and Fabyan Place, prompting a police investigation.
Officer arrived and found several shell casings and a vehicle damaged by bullets at that location.
Police searched the area for victims, but no injuries were reported.
The shooter ran from the scene and remains at large
