Police in Jersey City are on the search for suspects who fired shots in a neighborhood that struck a male in a section of the city Friday afternoon.
According to police, the broad daylight shooting happened in the vicinity of 563 Ocean Avenue around 12:45 p.m.
Police say several rounds of gunfire erupted from a white newer model CRV striking a man at that location.
EMS transported the victim to Jersey City Medical Center in stable condition while police canvassed the area for the vehicle and other evidence to support a motive for the crime.
According to police, two unoccupied cars were struck by bullets during the shooting.
The incident remains under investigation.
