A Union County woman who went missing back in April was reportedly found at a New York hospital Thursday her family told RLS Media.
According to Hillside Police Chief Vincent Ricciardi, Ms. Venita Johnson was found by a tip to Hillside police from a social worker at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center (Jamaica, NY).
Chief Ricciardi said she was there under a different name, "Stephanie Verda."
The name used may have come from a document in Ms. Johnson's possession.
Chief Ricciardi told RLS Media that Ms. Johnson is in good health and has been reunited with her family.
“Hillside police detectives worked tirelessly to find her since she was reported missing. I'm very proud of the tremendous amount of work they did to bring Ms. Johnson home”, Chief Vincent Ricciardi said.
“The entire Hillside Police Department is thrilled this matter has concluded with such happy news” Chief Vincent Ricciardi concluded.
