You are looking at a single-vehicle collision that occurred on a highway in Union Sunday morning.
According to preliminary reports, the crash happened at approximately 7:28 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Route 22 -just before the Kean University exit- where a truck somehow lost control and crashed into the guard rail.
Police say the impact of the collision caused the truck to lift onto the guard rail then ignite into flames.
At least one person has been transported to the hospital in an unknown condition.
