Officials at the Jersey Shore Medical Center contacted police when two victims entered the emergency department suffering bullet wounds at approximately 8:10 p.m.
The victims told police that armed suspects fired shots at them in the vicinity of 1030 Old Corlies shortly before they made it to the hospital.
Police checked the area for a crime scene but it is not clear if officers found any shell casings at this time.
The motive for the shooting has not been determined.
