Police in Jersey City are reporting non-fatal injuries for victims of a shooting in a section of the town a short time ago.
According to police, police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the vicinity of Martin Luther King Drive and Forrest Street around 2:55 p.m.
Units arrived and found the victims suffering gunshot wounds in their foot and shoulder, according to police.
The pair were transported to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment and are expected to recover.
Police believe the suspects fled the scene in a white Mercedes GL.
Jersey City Police will handle the investigation. No arrests have been made.
