BREAKING: Two Juveniles Injured in Shooting at New Jersey High School Football Game

Wayne Township Police, along with other Passaic County law enforcement detectives, are currently on the scene of a shooting that left two juveniles injured during a high school football game this evening.

The incident occurred around 7:35 p.m. at Passaic County Technical Institute, located at 45 Reinhardt Road, while a football game was underway.

AdPreliminary reports indicate that officers responded to the area after receiving reports of shots fired near the stadium.

The two injured juveniles were transported to St. Joseph's Hospital for treatment.

Shooting

The severity of their injuries and their current conditions have not yet been confirmed.

Authorities on the scene reported that one  jucenile was arrested, and a weapon was recovered.

It remains unclear whether the shooting took place inside the stadium, as police secured the facility during the incident.AdThe investigation is active and ongoing, with the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office notified and involved in the case.
