The Somerset County Prosector’s Office has been notified of a triple shooting that left one person dead in North Plainfield this evening.
At around 8:10 p.m., police responded to reports of shots fired in the 500 block of Little Place.
Upon arrival, police found two severely injured victims with gunshot wounds in their abdomens and one other person suffering a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
Police said one of the victims died at the scene and one other severely injured person is fighting for their life.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation at this time.
Police announced no arrests in the world incident.
