Police are reporting multiple victims in a mass shooting incident in Newark’s North Ward at this time.
According to preliminary reports, a gunman fired off about a dozen rounds near 751 Broadway around 7:10 p.m.
When police arrived at the scene, they found a teenager and about four other victims struck by gunfire.
Police say three victims suffered graze wounds while one of the injured is critical.
There is a significant police presence on Broadway, so avoid the area for the investigation.
