There is a county-wide search for suspects wanted for over a half dozen broad daylight robberies in Newark throughout the day.
In one of the incidents, police were dispatched on reports of an armed robbery in progress in the 60’s block of Baldwin Avenue around 5:05 p.m.
Officers arrived and found a woman who reported to police that three male suspects, armed with a gun, took personal possessions while in the driveway of her home.
Police say the same suspects also robbed a person on Ludlow Street, among four others citywide.
The suspects were occupying a black Acura TL that was located, unoccupied by police at a location in the city.
Police say three masked suspects jumped into a grey Jeep Cherokee with temp tags.
The suspects conducted two additional robberies in the Cherokee.
There were no injuries reported.
