Authorities are at the scene of a fatal shooting at a Rahway sneaker boutique.
Gunfire rang out sometime around 9:30 p.m. at East Coast located on the 1500 block of Irving Street, sending police to the scene where officers located an unresponsive male at that location.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by medics a short time after.
According to initial reports police were on the search for two black males that fled on foot. One of the suspects was observed walking with a limp and was wearing a dark hoodie, jeans, and combat boots.
The second suspect was last seen wearing a white t-shirt on with blue jeans.
There is an active crime scene and an investigation underway.
