Police have all lanes closed on NJ-23 near Green Rd in Jefferson Township as authorities investigate an incident where two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle early this morning.
Reports of victims down in the southbound lanes of the highway sent emergency responders to the scene before 5:45 am where they located the victims suffering serious injuries.
The extent of the victim's injuries have not been released at this time.
The Morris County Prosecutor's Office has been notified.
Expect the road to be closed much of the morning.
