One person has been pronounced dead at the scene of a pedestrian strike in a section of Linden Monday morning.
A preliminary investigation indicated that at approximately 1:40 a.m., police and EMS were called to a section of Park and East St. Georges avenues after receiving reports of an injured person.
Upon arrival, emergency responders found an unidentified person suffering severe injuries at that location.
Police say the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is currently being handled by the Linden Police Department.
