A fast-moving for that tore through a mixed-use building in Paterson had firefighters on the scene Sunday morning.
According to on the scene reports, flames raced through the Buca’s Seafood Restaurant located at 390 21st Avenue at approximately 10 am.
Paterson’s firefighters arrived at the scene where officials immediately signaled a second alarm as fire shot up to a two-story residential structure next door and upstairs.
Crews worked to stop heavy damage to neighboring structures as thick smoke pushed from the structure before they entered to perform a check for trapped and/or injured victims.
There were no injuries reported and fire officials placed the blaze under control at approximately 10:35 a.m.
The cause is under investigation.
