Details regarding the incident are developing, but according to preliminary reports, police responded to Littleton Avenue to investigate reports of shots fired before 11:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, they found an unconscious and unresponsive male suffering an apparent gunshot wound to the head at that location reports said.
The victim's condition is reported as "life-threatening."
Detective are on the scene searching for evidence to support a motive.
