A shooting incident with a man down in Newark's South Ward has police on the scene at this time.
Gunfire rang out at around 5:25 p.m. sending several police units to the Grumman Avenue where upon their arrival they found a male victim suffering multiple gunshot wounds including one to the head according to preliminary reports.
Police have a crime scene established and are requesting EMS on the rush.
Avoid the area for the investigation.
