Police are on the scene of a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred on Route 1&9 in Linden.
According to police, the crash happened at approximately 3:05 p.m. in the southbound lanes near the cemetery.
Based on preliminary reports, the motorcyclist hit a telephone pole and was ejected from the bike. Police report that the motorcyclist was killed on impact.
Initial reports also indicate that a Fedex van was involved in the crash but there is no word yet on how it was involved or if anyone from that vehicle was injured.
There are moderate delays on Route 1&9 as a result of the accident.
This crash is currently under investigation.
