BREAKING JERSEY CITY NJ: Three-Alarm Fire Injures Adult, Child in Jersey City

Firefighters are on the scene of a raging three-alarm fire that broke out early this morning in Jersey City.

Heavy fire tore through several homes in the 33 Irving Street shortly after 4 a.m. sending firefighters to the the scene where crews fought through thick smoke and fire that extended to 35 Irving Street and 120 North Street home, which is located behind 33 Irving Street.

EMS rushed a toddler to the hospital who reportedly suffered a burn to the elbow. The other four adults residents were transported to Jersey City Medical Center-Barnabas Health for evaluation.

The fire was placed under control sometime around 5 a.m.

A total of eight people were displaced by the fire.
