There is an active search for a suspect wanted for a shooting that injured one person in Harrison overnight.
Police are looking for a light complexioned hispanic male with a mustache and beard who was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white t-shirt who they say committed a shooting that sent one person to the hospital early this morning.
Gunfire erupted at around 1:30 a.m. in the area of Hamilton Street and Patterson Street sending police to the scene where they requested EMS for one person shot at that location.
The victim was rushed to University Hospital in Newark in an unknown condition.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
There were no arrests reported.
