The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office is currently investigating a shooting incident that resulted in the death of a male victim.
The event took place in the area of 42 Lakeside Avenue.
Police were dispatched to the location at approximately 1:10 p.m. following reports of suspicious activity.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim inside a vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
As of now, the investigation into the shooting is in its preliminary stages, with details still unfolding.
The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office is leading the investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.
