Governor Phil Murphy signed an executive order mandating all residents to stay at homes. The governor said this order is only for nonessential matters.
In the 1 p.m. press conference, Governor Murphy stated that in a second executive order that the state will run under one playbook and this order with supersede all municipalities' laws in the state.
"All gatherings in NJ is canceled." You may go out to take a walk, exercise, or go to the store, but you must practice social distancing, which is 6ft from any individual".
