Police in South Brunswick closed Route 1 as fire, EMS, and police were on the scene of a dump truck firs early Tuesday morning.
South Brunswick Police said the serious crash involved a truck and a car near Northumberland Way just after 9 a.m.
There is no word of injuries at this time.
Avoid Route 1 for the investigation and cleanup.
