Police have a crime scene established around a housing complex in Newark’s North Ward as officers search for additional suspects who opened fire in the area that struck a child this evening.
It happened around 5:32 p.m. near 412 Holiday Court, where police found a 9-year-old girl suffering bullet wounds in her leg and foot near that address.
