BREAKING: Boy Found Safe, Suspect Arrested Following Early Morning Amber Alert in Paterson

In a rapid resolution to a frightening situation, a 2-year-old boy, Zander Abad, has been found safe and his abductor arrested following an Amber Alert that roused thousands in the region early Friday morning.

The alert was initially broadcast at 1:35 a.m., urgently informing the community of the abduction.Ad

The suspect, Mr. Junior Nunez, identified as the ex-boyfriend of the victim's mother, was last seen driving a 2012 black Acura MDX with New Jersey license plate number "Y78SYU."

The vehicle was reportedly spotted in Manhattan, which helped law enforcement track down the suspect and the child.

Police successfully apprehended Nunez in the area of Temple Street and Presidential Boulevard at approximately 5:19 a.m.

Zander was found with him and appeared unharmed, but EMS was dispatched to the scene for a thorough evaluation as a precaution.Ad

Details surrounding the circumstances of the abduction have not yet been released, and the investigation continues.
