BREAKING: Amber Alert Issued for Abducted Child in Passaic County UPDATE: Found Safely, Suspect Captured

Passaic County authorities have issued an Amber Alert to thousands of residents, urging them to be on the lookout for a man who abducted a child overnight.AdThe alert was broadcasted around 1:35 a.m. Friday. 

According to police, the suspect, identified as Mr. Junior Nunez, is a black male last seen in Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey. He is the ex-boyfriend of the victim's mother. 

He is driving a 2012 black Acura MDX with New Jersey license plate number "Y78SYU." According to reports, this vehicle was spotted in Manhattan. 

The abducted child is a 2-year-old boy named Zander Abad.AdUPDATE 5:19 am: Suspect apprehended in the area of Temple Street and Presidential Boulevard. The child has been found safe but EMS are en route to evaluate. 

Further details about the abduction have not been released.
