The Princeton University Tigers, seeded #15 in the NCAA Tournament, Narrowly defeated the #2-seeded Arizona by a score of 59-55 in California this afternoon.
Princeton’s 26th NCAA Tournament Princeton slowed down Arizona’s offense while shooting above average percentages on the court, which allowed the NJ Team the win for the 4 p.m. game.
The Tigers were down by one at the end of the first half, then offensively outpaced Arizona in the second half 29-24 for the win.
Princeton’s good shooting and unselfish team play was evident and much needed for the win.
Defensively, their metrics were slightly above for this afternoon’s game, so they used the strategy and put their best foot forward.
