Authorities confirmed that a boy riding his bike earlier today was struck and killed by a box truck.
Officials said that the incident occurred near James Madison School 10 and a middle school.
According to school officials, the boy wasn't wearing a Garfield school uniform.
The incident is under investigation by both the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office and Bergen County Sheriff's Office.
