Somerset County authorities are investigating the circumstances behind a shooting that happened in Bound Brook causing serious injuries to a male victim.
Police responded to the 30's block of Fisher Ave. at around 11:30 p.m. on reports of a shots fired. Upon arrival to the scene, units found a male victim shot at that location.
The victim was rushed to Robert Wood Johnson University in New Brunswick suffering serious injuries.
There were no arrests immediately reported or suspect descriptions.
The shooting is under investigation by the Bound Brook Police Department.
