Body Recovered After Man Jumps Into Hudson River in Jersey City

Emergency responders recovered the body of a man who jumped into the Hudson River from a dock near the Paulus Hook train station on Sunday night.

Crews were dispatched to the Waterfront Walkway area around 3 p.m. following several reports that a male had entered the water. 

Bayonne and New York City divers were called in to assist with the search operation.

After a brief search, divers located the unidentified man and pulled him from the water. 

The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office stated they are now involved in the active and ongoing investigation but haven't released any further information. 

The incident remains under active investigation.
