BLOOMFIELD, NJ -- The Bloomfield Public Library is currently gathering information and input from the public, staff, and community stakeholders to assist them in formulating a Strategic Plan for 2019-2021. The Strategic Plan shapes how the library staff structures event series and update their multimedia catalog in the coming years.
“The Bloomfield Library staff works extremely hard to create educationally and socially stimulating programs for people of all ages,” said Mayor Michael Venezia. “By taking a few minutes to fill out their online survey, we can ensure the library will continue to put together great programs and events.”
The survey can be picked up in-person at the library or online at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf8bJHTY9NCG8ZVhHaATVR6Nzw1KQ2RJpiOvUxy7Eo6b8UYNA/viewform. The survey consists of 18 questions.
“I would like to thank Library Director Holly Belli for creating this survey that will help residents get more access to the programs and services they love, and new services that may be sought after,” said Councilwoman Jenny Mundell. “This survey can be completed in 5 to 10 minutes, and I would like to ask everyone in town to please participate.”
“In addition to a survey, available online and in-person, the Library will be hosting a Drop-In Day of Community Engagement on Saturday, November 3 from 2 to 4 pm in both the Children's Library and the Main Library. We will be asking the public what they love about their library, and what more we could do to serve them better,” said Bloomfield Public Library Director Holly Belli.
At the Drop-In Day on November 3, refreshments will be served and all Bloomfield residents are invited and encouraged to participate in as many ways as they can. Located at 84 Broad St., Bloomfield, the library is open Monday-Wednesday from 10:00am to 8:00pm, Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00am to 5:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Residents can also call the library at 973-566-6200 or email reference@bplnj.org.
