Bloomfield Police are searching for a man in connection with a theft that occurred in the town on Wednesday, July 29.
According to police, officers responded to the Home Depot at 60 Orange Street on a report of a theft.
The complainant observed an African American male take her cart with her Nautica wallet on the top rack and walk away.
According to police, the wallet contained approximately $1000 in cash.
Police describe the suspect as an African American Male, tall, wearing a white T-shirt and blue face mask.
This incident is still under investigation.
